The Xingang National Baotan Hall in Chiayi County was built and built with donations from Chairman Lin Zhaoyuan in 1963. After 44 years, his son, President Lin Fangkuan, initiated an update plan, which received responses from many people in many places.

General Manager Lawrence Huang of Shang You Construction was entrusted to serve as the acoustic consultant for the renovation project. He was grateful that the funds for this project were donated by the local government and provided technical services free of charge as social contribution.



During the planning period, relevant architectural acoustic targets were set based on the characteristics of Baotan Pavilion, which focuses on music performances, and were evaluated using professional simulation software.




After the completion of the project, indoor acoustic measurements were also conducted in accordance with ISO standards to confirm that relevant objectives were achieved.
