Following the project at Neiwei Art Center, the Shang You team was once again selected in late 2022 to participate in the renovation of Dadong Arts Center. Drawing on the success of the Pier-2 Base, this project aims to transform the vacant exhibition spaces in the Visual Arts Building into a brand-new "Arts Co-working Base."



For this project, we collaborated with "Atelier Let's," who previously participated in the renovation of Yancheng's First Public Market, to develop usage strategies for each floor of the Arts Co-working Base.

Inspired by the historical fabric of Fongshan Old City, we designed the first floor to include a reception lobby, co-working spaces, and a multifunctional conference room—creating spaces that foster sharing and exchange.

The second-floor private offices and other subsequent Phase II works were completed by another contractor this summer. With the Arts Co-working Base now officially in operation, we hope it will integrate with Dadong Arts Center's cultural and artistic resources to become the creative heart of Fongshan.
